Festive Season Walks

Christmas and New Year Walking Holidays 2008/09

Why not celebrate Christmas or welcome in the New Year with a Footpath Holidays festive season walking break?

Revel in the exhilaration of far-reaching coastal views, drink in the beauty of the British landscape, and breathe in the fresh winter air, all in the knowledge that the warm welcome and relaxed comfort of one of our favourite family-run hotels will be waiting for you on your return. Convivial company and fantastic food make the celebrations complete.

If you can't get away over Christmas or New Year why not join our festive pre-Christmas weekend, or our new 'Twix-mas' holiday - when local produce with a festive twist and will be high on the menu.

Christmas or New Year on the Cornish Coast
Our five night Christmas and New Year walking holidays in Cornwall will be based in Penzance, and enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery of the Land's End Peninsula.

Christmas or New Year on the South Downs
Our four night Christmas and New Year walking holidays on the South Downs will be based in the attractive village of Alfriston; perfectly located amongst the rolling hills of East Sussex.

New Year on the Pembrokeshire Coast
Our New Year walking holiday on the rugged Pembrokeshire Coast, will be based in St David's; Britain's smallest cathedral 'city', located on Wales' most westerly point.

Pre-Christmas weekend at Stourhead on the West Wiltshire/Dorset border
This year we have a weekend scheduled immediately pre-Christmas, so if you have family or work commitments over Christmas and New Year this could be the break for you. The weekend will be based in Stourton, on the National Trust's Stourhead estate and with a National Trust shop just a short walk from the Spread Eagle Inn this weekend will be the ideal opportunity to complete any last minute Christmas shopping!

Festive 'Twix-mas' holiday in the Cotswolds
This year, for the first time, we have a holiday in between Christmas and the New Year and it will be based in Mickleton in the beautiful countryside of the north Cotswolds.
