Great Walking on the North Downs Way

We've had some great feedback coming in from people participating in our walk along the North Downs Way National Trail.

The North Downs Way picks out the very best of the countryside on the downland ridge that runs through Surrey and Kent. Great views, pretty villages, splendid woodland and the joy of ridge walking. Many walkers might look at the proximity of the route to some areas of high population density and avoid it - a real mistake, there is so much good waalking to enjoy.

"North Downs Way - I knew it would be good, and how right I was! Two weeks of near-perfect weather following the
long ridge through the Surrey hills and high above the Kentish Weald. Great views, lovely woodland paths, and little unspoilt villages, with ancient churches and pubs. I particularly appreciated the latter - wonderful Kentish beer, and interesting locals to chat with. And all the pubs, and most of the churches were open. I'm going to do it again soon!"
