Arts and Crafts, Rivers and Meadows

Kelmscott Manor

Cygnets on the Rack Isle
Took the Roadscholar group to Kelmscott Manor this morning. Formerly the home of William Morris, the founder of the Arts and `crafts movement. Kelmscott is set in a beautiful location beside the Thames near Lechlade.

Had a great lunch at Bibury before walking beside the River Coln as far as Fossebridge then back for a fine buffet at Threeways Hotel, home of the Pudding Club
