West Cornwall Walking

The Lands End peninsula was at its best last week with an outstanding display of flora and fauna: a pair of peregrines near Zennor, basking sharks and seals in Nanjizal Bay and at Sennen Cove.

The Lands End peninsula is a magical place at any time but right now it is at its peak. There are still rooms available on our Far West of Cornwall walking holiday, 8-13 June, based at Hotel Penzance. Meals are taken in the Bay Restaurant, Cornwall's restaurant of the year in 2006 and 2007.
If you prefer to be more independent why not try one of our self-guided holidays - you choose the start date and can elect Bed and Breakfast or Half Board. Check out our website - just click on the title.

My 2nd walking tour with Footpath Holidays was North Cornwall, and it was a marvelous experience! And, although I have never done the West Cornwall tour, I wanted to comment here upon how well the Footpath Holidays tours are organized, how experienced and knowledgeable the are the guides and how much care and thought Ian and Suzanne Newman put into the planning for a week's walking. I have now done 8 Footpath Holiday walking tours, and will be doing my 9th this summer (2009). I am always delighted with the 'nooks and crannies' of England that one would not see but for actually walking through or past them! Thank you, Ian and Suzanne, for providing such a wonderful walking experience!
