Some Sad News

This week we received the sad news that Nimrod Taylor has passed away. Nimrod was always one of our most popular walk leaders, blessed with a warm good-nature and an easy way with people.

Nimrod died suddenly last Sunday whilst out walking with friends in the Chiltern hills near Chinnor.

In this age of increased longevity, we obviously feel that Nimrod was taken from us too early however we do draw comfort from the fact that he was 'a ship in full sail' until the end and his last moments were spent doing something he loved.

Our lasting memory of Nimrod will be of a good humoured, good natured man who always had the ability to make us smile. It was precisely because of this that Nimrod regularly led our festive season
walking trips, so we (like many of our regular guests) will always associate Nimrod with Christmas and New Year festivities and, when it comes down to it, I think that's a pretty good way to be remembered.
