What A Week in Cornwall

Padstow Bay, North Cornwall

After a week of good weather in the Cotswolds, we have enjoyed another week of sunshine in beautiful Cornwall. This photograph was taken at Hawkers Cove near Padstow and shows the mouth of Padstow Bay with Stepper Point on the left and Pentire on the right.

We arrived in Padstow to find 'Harbour Day' in full flow and a Cornish Fishermens' choir in full voice on the quayside and the offshore lifeboat open to visitors.

Yesterday our side trip to Port Isaac, included for the large number of fans of the Doc Martin TV series on our trip, was rewarded as they were filming a couple of scenes.
